GETTING AROUND BANGKOK
By far the quickest and easiest way to get around Bangkok is the BTS skytrain.

The BTS skytrain in Bangkok is a very efficient way of travelling around Bangkok. Open from early morning until Midnight it covers all the main areas of Bangkok for a very reasonable price, day tickets cost 120 baht. For more information visit the BTS website. By all means use TaxiToBangkok to get to Central Bangkok and visit the atractions around Bangkok. For travelling around Central Bangkok always use the Sky Train its far quicker.

 
DAMNOEN SADUAK FLOATING MARKET
 
This is the most well known floating market in Bangkok and is located at Damnoen Saduak District, Ratchaburi Province just outside Bangkok. To see the market at its best an early start is required. The market trading on water can be seen from very early in the morning untill about 11.00 a.m. After this it becomes to hot and the traders retire to more shaded areas.
 
WAT PHRA KAEO (TEMPLE OF THE GOLDEN BUDDHA)
 
Temple of the Golden Buddha

Wat Phra Kaeo or the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (officially name Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram) is regarded as the most important Buddhist temple in Thailand. Located in the historic centre of Bangkok, within the grounds of the Grand Palace, it enshrines Phra Kaew Morakot (the Emerald Buddha), the highly revered Buddha image magnificently carved from a single unique block of jade.

Admission to the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and the Central Court of the Grand Palace is 300 Baht. Please be aware that the admission fee also includes an admission ticket to Vimanmek Mansion that can be used within seven days of your Grand Palace visit.
